Why and when did you decide to train as a therapist?
I decided to train as a therapist because I have always been interested in people and I needed to understand peoples’ behaviours and relationships and find my place within all that.
Who inspires you?
I am very inspired by David J - an expert in meditation and wellness. He studied under Deepak Chopra, who has been a great inspiration for my meditation practice. I just love his voice and the authenticity that comes with it.
What is your favourite style of meditation?
My favourite types of meditation are guided meditations and silent contemplations. Listening to beautiful music fills me with emotions. Silence, quietening the mind allows me to be receptive to subtle energies and receive messages, images, downloads and to listen to my intuition.
What aspirations do you have for your students?
My aim is to help them help themselves, to give hope when necessary and to offer a space where they can open up with trust and where change for the better can take place, allowing them to grow with confidence and heal when ready.
What have your learned from the pandemic?
The pandemic has had a huge impact on all of us and will carry on to do so as we adapt to different ways of living.
What has it made you learn about yourself?
I have to say that confinement has not been difficult for me. I have been very busy, setting up a new venture and time has flown by.
I feel so grateful to live in the countryside where I can connect with nature everyday, this has been a god send for me during the last year. I have connected with our animal friends on a deeper level too. I have learnt that the little pleasures of life were truly the best and the gratitude in my heart has really grown for all the little things, the everyday things. A smile that someone gives you, a cup of tea with a chocolate, finding treasures in charity shops and developing my creativity.
I have felt that the world needed to stop, to ponder on how to proceed next.
What do you love?
I love everything spiritual
What do you dislike?
I dislike meanness of spirit and all that goes with it, but I understand as a therapist why some people are. We are all on our very personal journey which is difficult, so let's help each other whenever we can.
What makes you have a proper belly laugh?
Being with a girlfriend and feeling the joy in our heart and laughing at silly things, including ourselves.
What is the hardest lesson you have had to learn?
My biggest and hardest lesson has been dealing with chronic pain. It has made me very aware of how wonderful life is without pain and has made me want to live my life more fully.
What makes you proud?
My son makes me proud, having this amazing spiritual link with him is a beacon of light in my life.
What is your favourite music?
My favourite music is listening to Philippe Jarouski or Ave Maria by the Neville Brothers
What is your favourite film?
My favourite film is Dangerous liaison - it reminds me of a past life!
What food do you most dislike?
Chilli is a no no for me.

I have so many favourite items of clothing, I really look after my clothes and enjoy every piece that I own.

At home I like a casual chic look and comfort is queen to meditate.
